Academy Policy & Procedures
Student Behaviour Policy
At Organik Beauty Academy, we maintain a respectful and professional learning environment at all times. Rude behaviour, inappropriate comments, or disrespect toward trainers or fellow students will not be tolerated. A warning may be issued, and continued behaviour of this nature may result in removal from the course.
Respect
Students are expected to treat trainers, models, staff, and fellow students with respect, professionalism, and courtesy at all times. Bullying, intimidation, harassment, or disrespectful behaviour is not tolerated within the academy environment.
Professional Conduct Policy
Students must arrive on time for all training sessions. If you are running late, please contact the salon as soon as possible so we can manage the training schedule accordingly.
Non-Attendance / No Shows
Failure to attend your scheduled course without notice may result in loss of your booking and course fees, as preparation time, materials, and kit allocation have already been arranged.
In genuine emergencies, partial refunds or rescheduling may be considered at management discretion.
Mobile Phones Policy
Mobile phones may be kept nearby if required, however they must remain on silent mode and should not interrupt practical learning time.
Dress Code Policy
Students are required to wear neat, professional clothing suitable for salon-based practical training. Closed-In shoes are recommended. Please wear hair tied back.
Student Enrolment Policy
Course enrolments are confirmed once payment or deposit has been received.
Payment & Refund Policy
Course fees, deposits, and payment plans are subject to academy terms. Deposits are generally non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Course bookings require commitment once secured. Students must provide notice if unable to attend. Rescheduling may be approved depending on notice given, trainer availability, and academy discretion. Deposits and course payments are generally non-refundable unless a medical certificate is supplied or exceptional circumstances are approved by the academy.
Attendance Policy
Students are expected to attend all scheduled training sessions and arrive on time to receive the full course content and practical learning experience. Late arrival may reduce practical training time, as course hours are carefully structured. Where course requirements are not fully completed during scheduled training, students may be required to complete additional practical components outside of the course by submitting videos, case studies, or other practical evidence before a certificate is issued.
Health & Hygiene Policy
Students must maintain high standards of personal hygiene and follow all infection control, sanitation, and treatment safety procedures throughout practical training. Hands must be washed or sanitised regularly, work areas kept clean, and all equipment handled according to correct hygiene protocols.
Certification Policy
Certificates are issued upon successful completion of all required course components, including theory, practical training, and any additional competency evidence requested by the academy.
Additional Support Policy
Ongoing support is available after training for students who require course-related guidance. Communication is provided through WhatsApp for reasonable follow-up questions relating to course content and treatment techniques.
Intellectual Property Policy
All academy content, manuals, training systems, demonstrations, and educational resources remain the intellectual property of Organik Beauty Academy. Students must not duplicate, reproduce, share, or use academy materials for teaching or commercial purposes without written approval.
Social Media & Content Use Policy
Students must not record, reproduce, share, or distribute academy training content, demonstrations, manuals, videos, or teaching methods on social media or other platforms without written permission from Organik Beauty Academy.
Student Responsibility Policy
Students are responsible for actively participating in all training components, following academy instructions, practising safely within their level of training, and ensuring they understand any insurance, licensing, council, or legal requirements relevant to treatments they wish to perform after course completion.
Additional Academy Policies
Medical / Treatment Suitability Responsibility
Students are taught correct contraindications and treatment safety; however, it remains their responsibility to assess each future client appropriately before treatment.
Academy Right to Refuse Training
The academy reserves the right to refuse, pause, or discontinue training if unsafe behaviour, repeated non-compliance, or inappropriate conduct occurs.
Manual & Training Content Protection
Course manuals, treatment protocols, videos, and academy teaching methods must not be copied, reproduced, sold, or taught under another business without written permission.
